Payments, Returns and Refunds Policy
Payments
All fees, charges and taxes are due in advance of the provision of any service provided by the Commonwealth of Dominica Maritime Registry Inc., and its affiliates (“DMRI”) to the user. As the need for a service is frequently time-sensitive, DMRI may provide any service in advance of payment on a case-by-case basis. DMRI reserves the right to require payment in advance of the provision of any service. A “service” includes use of DMRI consular services or any other features, technologies or functionalities offered by DMRI on the website or through any other means.
Returns and Refunds
Payments are collected by DMRI for the provision of consular services and as such, returns are not possible. Users are responsible for ordering the correct service.
In the event of overpayment or a payment is made in error or duplicate, DMRI will advise the user of any overpayment or error and, at DMRI’s discretion, will apply the overpayment to any other outstanding invoice or as pre-payment of statutory fees. In the event that this proves impractical, a check in U.S. currency for the amount of the overpayment will be sent to the user.
